Psychoeducational Assessment
These assessments include evaluation of intellectual
functioning, academic, reading and written expression
skills and in some cases further assessment of
emotional, social, behavioral difficulties and learning
disabilities that may appear to be interfering with
success in school

and consultation
Clinicians are trained and certified special educators
using proven research based clinical teaching strategies
providing individualized instruction at the student’s
identified learning need in essential skills of math,
reading and writing. Strategies and metacognitive
skills are identified and developed allowing for mastery
of new skills, learning and increased self-esteem.

Special Education Advocacy and
Consultation
Advocates
have extensive experience in advocacy for children and
adolescents with significant learning challenges.
Advocacy provides a wide range of supportive services in
special education regulations and the appeals process,
consultation and development of appropriate Individual
Educational Programs (IEP) Team Meetings
and placement options.

Parent Education and Program
Development
Parents are
offered a wide range of informational, instructional and
supportive services in all educational arenas including
their child’s specific learning needs and develop
psychoeducational and metacognitive strategies
designed to promote their child’s ownership and
investment in learning.
